Project Description

Interior renovation of a 4-bedroom 3.5 bathroom home for a young family.

The design is distinguished by a continuous band of light that both unifies the space mitigates existing its structure. The ceiling is a structural slab whose height we wanted to preserve. We therefore took advantage of the irregularly-shaped step in it to create a band of light at the edge of this step. It provides general illumination, defines and unifies the various spaces, preserving the space’s height.
